Morning
Drive north west (84 km) to the Casablanca Valley.
Its name of "cold climate valley" has given it excellent commercial recognition, which translates into ideal conditions for growing red varieties such as Pinot Noir and Syrah, and white varieties such as Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay.
We will make our first stop at one of the most recognized organic vineyards in the country: Casas del Bosque vineyard. We will take a walk through the vineyard located in a privileged area of the Casablanca Valley, tour the cellar and barrel room, where wines age, to learn about the winemaking process. In addition, we will taste a selection of 4 wines.
Afternoon
We will continue our visit to Viña Emiliana. We will begin with a visit to the underground cellar, where the biodynamic preparations responsible for the nutrition and protection of the vines are stored. Then, we will head to the vineyard, where an explanation of the different soil types, planted varieties, and the climatic characteristics of the Casablanca Valley will be provided. Finally, we will enjoy a walk through the gardens, where visitors can interact with the animals that contribute to the vineyard’s biodiversity, before concluding with a tasting of their organic wines.
Our last stop will be at the Indomita vineyard. We will learn about the characteristics of the terroir where our vineyards grow before visiting the modern winery for a tour of the imposing tank room and the barrel room. The tour ends with a technical tasting of 3 Premium Duette wines and the icon wine Zardoz.
