Day 1 ARRIVAL IN SAO PAULO

Arrival at the São Paulo-Guarulhos International Airport. Transfer to your hotel and assistance with check-in.

Day 2 SAO PAULO: Tasting food tour & Cachaça tasting

Morning

In the morning, discover the city of São Paulo and its gastronomy. One of the gastronomic centers of the world, São Paulo offers over 12,500 restaurants from 55 types of cuisine that seek to please every kind of taste. It also exceeds the expectations of those in search for new flavors and those who want to try the most typical dishes of Brazil.
This tour combines the beauty of the city's main attractions and its many flavors, such as drinking a cup of Brazilian coffee at the Pátio do Colégio (the place where the city was founded), having a local drink at the highest point of the city, savoring a temaki in the Asian community, sampling a pastel with garapa (sugar-cane juice) at one of the city's street fairs, or enjoying the classic mortadella sandwich served at the Municipal Market.
Together with your guide, choose what you want to taste at each stop (drinks and meals not included). 

Afternoon

In the afternoon, participate in a Cachaça tasting! Cachaça is the official distilled drink of Brazil and the main ingredient of the most famous national drink: the Caipirinha. In this deep-immersion experience tour, you will know many kinds of Cachaças from various regions of Brazil that are aged in special wooden barrels. All of this “takes place inside a “cachaçaria”, with a thematic tasting trail.

Day 3 FLIGHT TO RIO DE JANEIRO, Free afternoon

Transfer to São Paulo Airport, followed by check-in formalities to board your flight to Rio de Janeiro (1 hour 50 min).
Arrival at the Rio de Janeiro airport.
Welcoming and transfer to your hotel. Check-in and installation.

Afternoon

Day 4 RIO DE JANEIRO: Iconic Beaches tour and Sugarloaf mountain

Afternoon

In the afternoon, enjoy a guided tour of Rio’s iconic beaches, including Copacabana, Ipanema, Leblon, and the Rodrigo de Freitas Lagoon. Ride the cable car up the Sugarloaf Mountain where you will enjoy a toast as the sun sets over the amazing scenery of Rio's background.

Day 5 RIO DE JANEIRO: Christ the redeemer and Historical Center

After enjoying your breakfast, visit Christ the Redeemer and the Rio historical center neighborhood with traditional Brazilian food tasting and a lunch at the local restaurant Confeitaria Columbo (6 hours).

Day 6 FLIGHT TO SALVADOR DA BAHIA, Historic city tour

Morning

Transfer to the airport of Rio de Janeiro, followed by check-in for your flight to Salvador da Bahia (1 hour 50 min).
Arrival at the Salvador da Bahia airport.
Welcome by our team, followed by a transfer to your hotel for check-in and installation.

Afternoon

Discover some of the most famous postcard destinations of Brazil. We will start with a visit to the Barra’s Lighthouse, where you will have a few minutes to enjoy all the beauty and magnificence this place exudes and take several iconic pictures. Continuing our tour, we will pass by the Corredor da Vitória and Campo Grande, which during the carnival serve as walkways for the famous Trios Elétricos. Arriving at the Historical Center, the tour is done walking around the narrow streets, slopes, and many old houses which will make you travel back in time.
Squares, churches, museums, and art galleries give a special charm to the Pelourinho.

Day 7 SALVADOR DE BAHIA: Santa Maria & São Diogo Forts, Rio Vermelho Market

Morning

Enjoy a morning tour to discover the enchanting neighborhoods of Barra and Rio Vermelho, visiting the Forts of Santa Maria and São Diogo, Casa de Jorge Amado Memorial and the Rio Vermelho’s Market called Ceasinha.
Located on the beach of Porto da Barra, the forts of Santa Maria and São Diogo, which historically served to defend the Bay of All Saints, now host cultural spaces with interactive exhibitions of the Franco-Brazilian photographer and ethnographer, Pierre Verger, and of the Argentine visual artist, Carybé.
We will continue our tour in the direction of the Rio Vermelho neighborhood, considered one of the most bohemian areas in the city. We will visit Casa do Rio Vermelho Memorial, which was once the home of Jorge Amado and Zélia Gattai. We will see that this space is not limited to the history of the writers, but of characters, customs, and signs that helped to forge the identity of Bahia that he presented to the world. Shortly after the visit, we will continue to Rio Vermelho’s Market (Ceasinha), a showcase not only for the crafts of Bahia but also a hotspot for regional cuisine. We can stop for shopping, for a regional fruit tasting, and to enjoy a tasty and typical lunch.

Day 8 SALVADOR DE BAHIA: Boat tour on All Saints Bay, Frades and Itaparica Islands

Morning

You are invited to embark on a fantastic tour of the two most visited islands of the Baía Todos os Santos (All Saints Bay): Frades and Itaparica Islands.
Aboard a schooner, a sailing ship with plenty of entertainment, you will navigate seas for about 1 hour 30 min to reach Frades Island, a haven for calm and green waters. On the island you can take the time to explore and admire the natural beauty of the island, visit the Church of Nossa Señora De Guadalupe, do some sports on shores of the island, or just relax by the company of the sea. Back on the Schooner, we will continue to Itaparica Island (Ponta de Areia). Once there, you can have a lunch in a traditional restaurant with a wide variety of dishes of local cuisine.
Afterwards, you will enjoy all the peace and tranquility that the island offers, walking along the beach or just relaxing in a hammock available on site.

Day 9 SALVADOR DE BAHIA: Cooking class with the Community of Uruguay

Morning

In the morning enjoy a unique and dynamic tour! This special occasion takes place in the Traditional Community of Salvador together with the Cooks & Candy Association (ADOCCI), formed by ladies of the Community itself who cook and teach the art of gastronomy for lovers of good cuisine.
The community is about a 30 minute car ride from the center of the city. Upon arrival, you will be presented with a short history of the projects developed. Afterwards, walk to the local market to buy essential ingredients for the class.
You will then start your class and learn how to prepare a Mixed Moqueca and a traditional dessert. At the end of the class, you will have the pleasure of enjoying a delicious lunch that you have made yourself. This moment serves as a good opportunity to talk in order to exchange information and experiences with the ladies and the local guide (An experienced member from the community who understands the realities of the region).

Dinner at Cuco Bistro & Special Pelourinho Show.
Nightlife in Bahia is amazing! Watch a demonstration of the main folkloric and cultural manifestations of Bahia, presented by the Bahia award-winning Ballet Folklorico. A mesmerizing light-show with amazing sounds and movements will arrest your attention so much so that you will not be able to look away from the stage.
