Tour Description

11-Day Private Brazil Tour – Rio, Iguazu Falls, Salvador de Bahia, and Chapada Diamantina Adventure

1.5-Week Brazil Custom Vacation

Begin your journey in Rio de Janeiro, a city where the sea, mountains, and vibrant culture blend seamlessly. Ride the cable car up to Sugarloaf Mountain for a sweeping panorama, and stand before the monumental Christ the Redeemer on Corcovado Hill. Stroll along the golden sands of Copacabana, Ipanema, and Leblon, enjoying the city’s beach lifestyle. To connect with nature, set off on a Jeep tour through Tijuca Forest, the largest urban rainforest on Earth, where hidden waterfalls and scenic viewpoints reveal another side of Rio.

Continue to Iguazu Falls, a spectacle of more than 250 cascades crashing into the jungle below. Walk the Brazilian and Argentine trails, cross elevated walkways, and get close enough to feel the spray of the mighty Devil’s Throat. From sweeping viewpoints to intimate encounters right at the water’s edge, every angle offers a new perspective on this UNESCO World Heritage treasure.

Fly north to Salvador de Bahia, the birthplace of Afro-Brazilian traditions. Wander through the colorful streets of Pelourinho, with its colonial churches, pastel façades, and lively squares. Savor Bahian cuisine, where African flavors and local ingredients meet, and immerse yourself in the rhythms of capoeira and drum beats echoing through the historic center. Out on the water, a schooner cruise across Baía de Todos os Santos brings you to Frades and Itaparica Islands, where you can swim, relax, and enjoy the coastline at a slower pace.

Your adventure culminates in the wild beauty of Chapada Diamantina National Park. Trek across the Capão Valley to the summit of Fumaça Waterfall, the tallest free-fall cascade in Brazil. Venture underground into the immense Lapa Doce Cave, with its ancient stalactites and stalagmites. Cool off in the Pratinha River’s crystal-clear waters, visit the enchanting Blue Cave, and finish with sunset views from the iconic Pai Inácio Hill, where the rolling mountains stretch endlessly into the horizon.

From Rio’s iconic skyline to Iguazu’s thunderous cascades, from Salvador’s cultural heartbeat to Chapada Diamantina’s untouched wilderness, this 11-day journey is full of unforgettable sights and experiences. With Latin Discoveries guiding your trip, every detail is personalized, every moment is seamless, and the magic of Brazil comes alive in a way only a carefully curated adventure can provide.
