Direct flight to Foz do Iguazu (2h). Upon arrival transfer to you hotel in Foz do Iguazu.

In the afternoon, visit the stunning Iguazu Falls National Park. Officialy put on the map in 1541, the giant waterfall system runs over 1.7 miles (2.7 km) with impressive drops from 200 feet (60 m) to 269 feet (82 m). Iguazu Falls are higher than Niagara Falls and almost twice as wide.

After breakfast at your hotel, your morning tour will take you to the Argentinean side of Iguazu, where most of the falls are located. Walk along a series of boardwalks to catch spectacular views of the falls and the occasional monkeys and toucans that inhabit the nearby forest.

Morning transfer to Paraty (4 to 5 hours). The drive to the small coastal town goes through one of the most scenic roads in Brazil on the Rio-Santos route.

In the afternoon meet with your local guide and start your walking tour to explore the history of Paraty and its harmonious architectural ensemble of the 18th century. You will stop at the Church of Our Lady of Remedies (Igreja Matriz), the Chapel of Santa Rita (Igreja Santa Rita), the Church of Our Lady of the Rosary (the Igreja Nossa Sra. Do Rosário), the Church of Our Lady of Sorrows (Igreja Nossa Sra. Das Dores), the Museum of Sacred Art (Museu Arte Sacra), the Cultural Center (Casa da Cultura) and a cachaça tasting (2 hours).

In the morning, meet at the main pier of Paraty where you will board your Schooner for your full day cruise through the bay of Paraty.

Explore some of Paraty’s most beautiful beaches along the coast and stop to visit two of the 65 islands of the bay. The itinerary includes stops at Cotia Island, Ilha Comprida do Norte, Cocos Island, Preguiça Cove, Engenho Beach (Mamanguá), and Vermelha Beach – some of the most beautiful and peaceful spots in the region.

The trip lasts around 5 hours with 4 stops of about 40 minutes, plenty of time for swimming, snorkeling and sunbathing.

Sail back to the pier late in the afternoon and enjoy some free time to relax and soak in the sunset.

Depart from Vila do Abraão and explore some of the most remote and beautiful beaches of Ilha Grande.

You will swim at Caxadaço Beach, visit historic Parnaioca Beach with its lagoon and waterfall, see the iconic leaning palm at Aventureiro Beach, enjoy calm waters and optional lunch at Maguariquessaba Beach, and finish with snorkeling at Meros Beach.

The tour includes snorkeling gear, bottled water, and a cooler with ice.

After lunch, you will board the speed boat back to Angra dos Reis (20 to 40 min).

From there, private transfer to Rio (2 hours to 3 hours).
