Tour Description

10-Day Tailored Trip – Custom Travel Adventure Across Argentina & Bolivia

1-Week Private Tour through Argentina & Bolivia

Embark on an extraordinary 10-day private, tailored tour through Argentina and Bolivia—an immersive journey designed for travelers seeking a custom vacation filled with lagoons, volcanoes, desert landscapes, salt flats, and Andean wonders. This handcrafted itinerary combines vibrant cities with surreal natural scenery, offering the best of South America in one unforgettable travel experience.

Your adventure begins in Buenos Aires, Argentina’s elegant capital. Soak in its European-style charm, tree-lined boulevards, and world-renowned gastronomy before flying north to Salta, a colonial gem framed by rugged mountains and Andean culture.

From Salta, journey deep into the highlands on a full-day scenic expedition to the Salinas Grandes, one of Argentina’s most astonishing natural landmarks. Travel along the winding Cuesta de Lipán, climbing above 4,000 meters with panoramic views of the Andes and sightings of llamas and vicuñas. Upon reaching the vast salt flats, you'll have time to walk the shimmering white expanse, learn about traditional salt harvesting, and take iconic, perspective-defying photos. After lunch, descend into the valley and continue to Purmamarca, a picturesque adobe village nestled beneath the Hill of Seven Colors, part of the Quebrada de Humahuaca, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Stroll its charming streets, explore artisan markets, and enjoy a peaceful overnight stay surrounded by vibrant desert hues and timeless traditions.

Cross into Bolivia, where the landscapes become increasingly otherworldly. In the wild regions of South and North Lipez, discover surreal sights like the Green Lagoon, Laguna Colorada, the wind-sculpted Dali Desert, and the tree-like formations of the Siloli Desert. Visit remote villages such as San Pedro de Quemez and travel to the legendary Uyuni Salt Flat, where you'll explore Incahuasi Island, the cactus-covered island in a sea of salt, as well as the Tunupa Volcano, the haunting Train Cemetery, and the red rock canyons surrounding Tupiza.

Conclude your journey in La Paz, Bolivia’s high-altitude capital, where modern life unfolds dramatically across steep hillsides. Ride the world’s highest urban cable car system for sweeping views, shop in colorful markets, and take an excursion to the Valle de la Luna (Moon Valley), a bizarre, otherworldly landscape shaped by erosion just outside the city.

This tailored journey through Argentina and Bolivia delivers stunning scenery, rich culture, and one-of-a-kind experiences across two countries. Let us design your perfect South American adventure, crafted to your pace, passions, and sense of discovery. Get in touch!
