Designed for those who crave authenticity and connection, this journey blends immersive cultural encounters with natural marvels — all shaped to your rhythm by Latin Discoveries’ expert travel designers.

Begin in La Paz, Bolivia’s dynamic capital nestled in a rugged Andean bowl. Explore the City Center, where colonial facades meet a pulse of modern life. Engage in an intimate Andean ceremony, then take the unforgettable Shoe Shiner City Tour — a powerful encounter with the resilience of La Paz’s working class. End the day wandering Moon Valley, a windswept labyrinth of spires and gullies sculpted by centuries of erosion.

Continue to Lake Titicaca, the spiritual heart of Andean civilization. Wander the lakeside avenues of Copacabana before setting sail across the sapphire waters. Discover the sacred Moon and Sun Islands, home to the Temple of the Virgins of the Sun and the atmospheric Pilko Kaina Ruins. Delve into the mysteries of pre-Columbian life at the Tiwanaku archaeological site, and trek near the pristine Condoriri Mountain, surrounded by glacial peaks and alpine serenity.

Fly south to Uyuni, where the legendary Salt Flats (Salar de Uyuni) stretch beyond the horizon. Visit Incahuasi Island, home to towering cacti and fossilized coral formations, and capture the surreal reflections and silvery silence of the salar. This ethereal expanse offers endless opportunities for awe, photography, and dreamlike stillness.

Journey through the remote wilds of North Lípez, beginning in the quiet hamlet of San Pedro de Quemez. Traverse a landscape of volcanic plateaus and flamingo-dotted lagoons. In South Lípez, stand before the haunting formations of the Siloli Desert and the stone tree known as Arbol de Piedra. Explore the surreal Eduardo Avaroa Andean Fauna National Reserve — home to the steaming Sol de Mañana Geysers, the surreal Dali Desert, and the fiery-red waters of Laguna Colorada. End this portion of your journey at the luminous Laguna Verde, set at the foot of the majestic Licancabur Volcano.

Next, step into Bolivia’s colonial soul in Sucre, the country’s official capital and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Take in panoramic views from the Recoleta Lookout, then admire Andean craftsmanship at the Museum of Indigenous Textile Art. Walk the cloisters of the Convent of San Felipe Neri, visit the historic Liberty House, and experience local flavor at a bustling market. Cap off your stay with a hands-on Bolivian cooking class — a flavorful dive into regional traditions.

In Potosí, descend into one of the world’s highest cities to uncover the legacy of colonial silver mining. Tour the remarkable National Mint of Bolivia and the stately Main Plaza, where echoes of empire still linger in ornate stonework and timeworn streets.

Conclude your adventure in Madidi National Park, one of the most biodiverse places on Earth. Navigate jungle waterways by canoe, explore lush trails with expert naturalists, and listen as the rainforest awakens during nocturnal wildlife observation hikes. Here, in the heart of the Bolivian Amazon, nature feels intimate, raw, and utterly mesmerizing.

Your larger suitcases will be taken and stored at your hotel in Copacabana where you will stay the following night.

Morning

Departure with your private guide and driver to the town of Copacabana (3 hours 30 min), located on the shore of Lake Titicaca.

The rest of the day will be spent sailing on Lake Titicaca and discovering two of its Bolivian islands.

With  214 cubic miles (893 cubic km) of water and an altitude 12,507 ft (3812 metres), Lake Titicaca is the largest lake in South America and the highest navigable lake in the world.

Your larger suitcases will be taken and stored at your hotel in Copacabana where you will stay the following night.

Morning

Depart from La Paz toward Copacabana, passing through the scenic Tiquina Strait, a narrow section of Lake Titicaca crossed by boat. Enjoy the journey across this sacred body of water before arriving in Copacabana, a lakeside town known in Aymara as Kota Kawana, meaning “view of the lake.” Once an ancient ceremonial site, it’s now Bolivia’s most important Catholic sanctuary, reflecting a rich fusion of pre-Columbian traditions and colonial influence.

Visit the Copacabana Cathedral, a 17th-century church showcasing rare Moorish-style architecture. Inside, you’ll find the revered Virgen Morena (Brown Virgin), a symbol of deep spiritual devotion in the region.

Evening

Arrive at the Island of the Sun and check in to your lakeside hotel. As the day winds down, enjoy a locally inspired aperitif at sunset, prepared with native ingredients. Day 5 Trek in Condoriri National Park

Morning

Depart early morning from Copacabana by private vehicle toward the Condoriri National Park, located in the majestic Cordillera Real. As you travel inland, the scenery transforms from the shimmering shores of Lake Titicaca to the soaring peaks and glacial valleys of the Andean highlands.

Upon arrival, begin a moderate one-hour trek into the heart of the national park. The trail leads through pristine high-mountain terrain, home to native species such as wild ducks (Anas, Huallatas), herons, viscachas, the elusive Andean deer, and — with luck — sightings of the mighty condor.

Your destination is the stunning Chiarkhota Lagoon, sitting at an altitude of 4,670 meters above sea level. Tucked beneath the snowcapped Tuni Condoriri, this high-altitude lagoon is known for its emerald-green waters and, in the right light, mirror-like reflections of the surrounding peaks. Continue by private 4x4 to the stunning Turquiri Lagoon at 4,261 meters above sea level. Known as the Black Lagoon for its dark waters, it’s home to endemic black ducks and surrounded by surreal rock formations and large patches of yareta, a rare high-altitude plant.

Travel through the windswept Siloli Desert at 4,000 meters, home to the iconic Stone Tree, a volcanic rock sculpted by erosion. Then, visit the fascinating Cave of the Galaxies at 3,670 meters altitude. This otherworldly limestone cave, shaped by volcanic lava interacting with the ancient inland sea that once covered the area, offers a unique glimpse into Bolivia’s geological past.

Transfer to Potosi (3 hours 30 min), passing by beautiful points of views.

Check-in and istallation at your hotel.

Afternoon

Arrive in Potosí, one of the world’s highest cities at 4,070 meters above sea level. Once known as the Imperial City of Charles V, Potosí was famed in the 17th century for its immense wealth—at one point even surpassing Paris and London in population. The city’s dramatic history and well-preserved colonial architecture earned it the distinction of being Bolivia’s first UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Begin your visit with the iconic Real Casa de Moneda (Royal Mint of Potosí), built between 1753 and 1773. This grand colonial structure played a crucial role in sustaining the Spanish Empire, minting coins from the silver extracted from the nearby Cerro Rico. Today, it houses a museum with galleries dedicated to colonial art, coin-making machinery, and the city’s rich historical legacy.

After the museum, take a moment to stroll through Plaza 10 de Noviembre, the main square of Potosí. From here, enjoy panoramic views of Cerro Rico, the legendary mountain that looms at 4,800 meters, along with the surrounding historic buildings and churches that speak to the city’s storied past.
