Day 3 Iguazu Falls Argentinian side

Add a thrilling jet boat tour to your day.  We advise you to wear a swimsuit and bring changing clothes as you will get to the foot of the waterfalls.

Morning

Transfer to Iguazu National Park (15 min) on the Argentinian side, where 80% of the waterfalls are located.

Begin with the Upper Circuit, a relatively easy and flat walk that offers panoramic views from above several major falls, including the majestic San Martín and Bosetti Falls. This trail gives you a breathtaking overview of the waterfalls and the surrounding jungle canopy.

Next, walk the Lower Circuit, a loop that brings you closer to the base of some of the falls. You’ll feel the mist and power of the water up close, with chances for excellent photo ops and even rainbows. This path involves more stairs and elevation change, so take your time.

Optional: Take a boat ride to the base of the falls if you're looking for an adrenaline boost — expect to get soaked!

Afternoon

After lunch, take the Ecological Jungle Train to the trailhead for the Garganta del Diablo (Devil’s Throat).

Walk the catwalks over the river to reach the massive viewing platform at the edge of the Devil’s Throat, the park’s most powerful and dramatic waterfall. The sound and spray are intense — it’s a highlight of the visit.

Spend time soaking in the incredible views and watching for wildlife like butterflies, toucans, and coatis along the way.

Afterward, make your way back via the train or footpaths, with time to explore gift shops, grab a snack, or simply relax before leaving the park.

Transfer back to your hotel in Puerto Iguazu.

Dating back to the 17th century, these ruins offer a glimpse into the life and organization of the Jesuit and Guaraní communities, with partially restored structures including the church, Jesuit residences, and indigenous quarters. A visit to the interpretation center enhances the experience with historical insights and context.

Afternoon

Continue the journey towards Colonia Carlos Pellegrini (5 hours), passing through scenic landscapes as you make your way into the heart of the Iberá Wetlands. Along the way, there's an optional stop at the lesser-known ruins of Santa Ana, offering a more rugged and atmospheric contrast to San Ignacio.
