Itinerary

Day 1 DEPARTURE, BRIEFING, ANAVILHANAS NATIONAL PARK, TUMBIRA COMMUNITY, SUNSET

Morning

Transfer by van at 8am from your hotel in Manaus to the boat.
Boarding and depart toward the Negro River while you enjoy a welcome drink and appetizers and listen to the information about route and facilities.
Navigate to the Anavilhanas Archipelago, the second largest in the world with approximately 400 islands, hundreds of lakes, rivers...

Afternoon

In the afternoon, motorboat trip to meet the sustainable community of Tumbira - where they use solar energy to live.
In the late afternoon we embark in the canoes and learn more about this wonderful nature park while enjoying the sunset.

Evening

Free evening.

Day 2 TUMBIRA COMMUNITY, JUNGLE TRAIL, APUAU RIVER, NIGHTLIFE OBSERVATION

Morning

After breakfast we visit the Tumbira Community. Presentation of this Sustainable Development Reserve and its projects.

We go for a Jungle Trail to learn about fauna and flora of the region.

Afternoon

Navigation through the Anavilhanas Archipelago to the Apuaú River. This river is an area of exuberant fauna and flora. It will be possible to observe countless species of birds and animals.

Speedboat tour in the area to observe the nightlife.

Evening

Free evening.

Overnight onboard.

Day 3 PIRANHA FISHING, BIRD WATCHING, TUYUKAS COMMUNITY

Morning

Early in the morning, departure to watch the sunrise in the forest.

After breakfast, we spend a little time fishing for piranhas and other fish. Then, trail in the jungle for bird watching.

Afternoon

In the afternoon, we visit the Tuyukas indigenous community to get to know a little of the Indigenous culture of this group.

Evening

Free evening.

Day 4 PINK DOLPHINS, ARRIVAL IN MANAUS

Morning

Departure to observe the Pink Dolphins of the Amazon.


Now is time to return to the city of Manaus. Lunch onboard and arrival planned around 12:00 hrs.


Transfer to your hotel / to the airport in Manaus.

If necessary, it is imperative to get your yellow fever vaccine at least ten days prior to departure.

Weather conditions in the Amazon rainforest vary greatly depending on the two seasons: the wet season from December to May and the dry season from June until November. Regardless of the season, you have to be prepared for rain throughout the year, although it rains a lot less during the dry season.
