How do I reserve a tour with Latin Discoveries?

When should I make my reservation?

To ensure hotel and flight space and confirm the best travel deals, we suggest you plan ahead when reserving with us.  Many of our guests reserve their trips six to nine months in advance.  Of course, we will do our best to plan your stay in whatever timeframe works for you.

When is payment due for my tour?

Payment Policy. A 20% deposit is due upon confirmation of the package. The remaining balance must be received by wire transfer 30 days before arrival.

Cancellation Policy. Cancellation notice more than 30 days before arrival after confirmation of the package, 80% will be refunded. Cancellation notice 16-30 days prior to arrival, 50% will be refunded. Cancellation notice 4-15 days prior to arrival, 30 % will be refunded. Cancellation notice 3 days or less prior to arrival, no refund. Packages with domestic flights, cruises or deluxe hotels special cancellations policies will be applied.

Is tipping included and if not, how much should I tip?

Tipping is not included. We suggest 10% in Restaurants, other Service (for other services like guides, bellboys and others) please contact us.

Should I take cash or credit/debit cards?

We recommend our clients bring cash and a Credit Card and/ or Debit Card to withdraw money from secure ATMs which are widely available. US Dollars are accepted everywhere and currency exchange locations are very easy to find. Euros are also widely accepted.
